Workshop Overview:

It is a 2-hours interactive and participatory workshop whose purpose is to equip learners with the skills that will assist them to broaden their understanding of Social Entrepreneurship. The workshop will walk you through the basic concepts and characteristics of social enterprise and equip you with a few processes and tools to enable you to start planning your own business. It is designed as a practice-oriented interactive workshop, which will transfer knowledge as well as engage participants in creating their own action plans.

Mover’s Workshop is initiated by UNDP Youth Co: Lab to create a community of volunteers who can take action by organizing Movers Workshop. The module is designed with a train-the-trainer methodology, so after attending this workshop, you can conduct similar workshops with your community members too!

Know your Trainer:

Mr. Lokesh Khadkastrongly believes in “Learning By Doing” and he has been contributing to Quality Education, getting involved in lots of activities and platforms to learn and share. He has been recognized as “25under25 Youth Champions” in Quality Education category by Youth Opportunities Nepal on August 12, 2020. He serves as the President of Universal Business Club; an in-house club of Universal College which aims to enhance business and leadership skills by connecting students with entrepreneurs, business leaders, bankers, & other experienced personalities in a relative field. He was also the event lead at Kathmandu Youth Conclave, a student-led national level event which live by “Inspiring Youth, Leading Nation”

Mr. Sundar Shrestha is pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Kathmandu University. He is an aspiring Mover, facilitated International Movers Program to enhance the knowledge and skills of 7 different entities youths about SDG and Social Entrepreneurship. He has quite a lot of experience in different fields, as he performed different roles in Glocal Teen Hero, Rotaract Club of KU, Living with Environment, AISEC in KU renowned organizations to make a good impact throughout the globe. With his strong work ethic and pro-activeness, he wants to be the voice of youths and bring a moment of bliss to every youth who seems to have lost their pathways.

Ms. Maheri Dorothy is currently studying Sher-E-Bangla Agricultural University in Bangladesh. She is engaged in Cottage Micro Small Medium Enterprise (CMSMEs) and aspires to become an Entrepreneur.
