Workshop Overview:

Movers Workshop on Social Entrepreneurship is a 2-hour interactive and participatory workshop whose purpose is to equip learners with the skills that will assist them to broaden their understanding of Social Entrepreneurship. This workshop is being organized in support of Intercultural Education (ICE).

The workshop will walk you through the basic concepts and characteristics of social enterprise and equip you with a few processes and tools to enable you to start planning your own business. It is designed as a practice-oriented interactive workshop, which will transfer knowledge as well as engage participants in creating their own action plans. The workshop is initiated to create a community of volunteers who can take action by organizing the Movers Workshop. The module is designed with a train-the-trainer methodology, so after attending this workshop, you can conduct similar workshops with your community members too!

Know your Trainer:

Mr. Prajesh Khanal, Youth Community Builder & Facilitator, Movers Program in Nepal

Prajesh Khanal, an environmentalist and child rights advocate from Nepal, is a GTH Alumni (Glocal's 20 Under 20, 2017). He has been actively engaged in developing SDGs awareness, entrepreneurial mindsets, and 21st-century skills by conducting localized training at a grassroots level as a volunteer Movers Facilitator.


With 8+ years of experience working for and with young people, he is currently leading an initiative to connect youths of South Asia - the SAARC Youth Council. He has been recognized as Global Peace Ambassador by Global Peace Chain and is a trained Climate Reality Leader by Climate Reality Project. He is a Youth Empowerment in Climate Action Platform (YECAP) Fellow, of the first cohort.


Mr. Sangay Loday, Movers Facilitator, Bhutan

Mr. Sangay Loday is the Mover Facilitator from Bhutan who has a passion for literature to people's lives. The first time he volunteered in a program called "Project Chodrup" which was a part of charity work. He is also associated with YAN (Youth Advocacy Network Bhutan). Likewise, he has been a part of organizations such as M4M (Me for Myself), Pride Bhutan, Storious, Global Shapers, and especially the Movers Programme. He has been actively working to bring positive change in people’s lives and also the society.
