Workshop Overview:

Movers Workshop on Social Entrepreneurship is a 2-hour interactive and participatory workshop whose purpose is to equip learners with the skills that will assist them to broaden their understanding of Social Entrepreneurship. This workshop is being organized in support of Intercultural Education (ICE).

The workshop will walk you through the basic concepts and characteristics of social enterprise and equip you with a few processes and tools to enable you to start planning your own business. It is designed as a practice-oriented interactive workshop, which will transfer knowledge as well as engage participants in creating their own action plans. The workshop is initiated to create a community of volunteers who can take action by organizing the Movers Workshop. The module is designed with a train-the-trainer methodology, so after attending this workshop, you can conduct similar workshops with your community members too!

Know your Trainer:

Mr. Aung Sing Hla Marma, Mover Mentor, Bangladesh

Mr.  Aung Sing Hla Marma is a Mover Mentor at Movers Programme and currently working as a Scientific Officer at Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA). He is a young SDG activist who is zealous to help the country to achieve the sustainable development goals. Aung wants to uplift his community, especially focusing on the youth by providing them support and advocacy about SDGs. That is why he joined Movers Programme back in May 2021 and since then he has been working for youth by organizing and facilitating several workshops and webinars. Until now, he has reached more than 300 youths. He is a fellow of Youth Empowerment in Climate Action Platform (YECAP). He is also working as a Climate Leader with different youth led organizations like SHWARUP and PCYCLE.

Ms. Pratisha Joshi, Mover Mentor, Nepal

Ms. Pratisha Joshi is currently working as a volunteer manager in Rayleigh International Nepal. She believes change begins from oneself and aspires to bring at least a small change in her lifetime. She is a Mover Mentor from Nepal.
