Workshop Overview:

Movers Workshop on SDG 5: Gender Equality is a 2-hour Movers online workshop that will introduce about Gender Equality, and the perception of young people upon Gender. This workshop is being organized in support of Intercultural Education (ICE).

The workshop will briefly and interactively acquaint the participants to realize the importance of gender equality on today’s society and the influence of inequality. It will also deliver an occasion to acquire the features of Gender Equality and develop participants to stand up for the activities for the betterment of their society; which will also endorse the SDGs. This workshop will benefit us in emerging a broader outlook on gender equality.

Know Your Trainer:

Mr. Kaushal Niraula, Aspiring Mover, Nepal

Mr. Kaushal Niraula from Nepal is a 16 years old youth nature lover who loves to enjoy every vibes of nature since childhood. He is currently a member of NYCA (Nepalese Youth for Climate Action) group. He has deep connection with the nature and the environment. As a nature lover, he wants to work to make people understand about the importance of nature conservation for the future.

Mr. Faezur Rahman, Aspiring Mover, Bangladesh

Mr. Faezur Rahman is an aspiring mover and is currently a Graduate student. He is SDGs Advocate working for mental health advocacy as an initiative- "Turn to Positive." In addition, he regularly participates in UN projects like UNEP Anatomy of Lifestyle, often contributing to the UN Youth Level policy meeting. Lastly, he attended UNEP midterm strategy meeting as an accredited NGO member.

Ms. Shikshya Parajuli, Aspiring Mover, Nepal

Ms. Shikshya is a multi-talented, extremely dedicated human with a lifelong passion for learning and creating positive changes in the society. She is a bachelor graduate in Agriculture, and an aspiring Mover.
