Most of us dream of having a governmental job; we really work hard to reach the point. Before going there, we have to understand the way of working. We should be able to decide what kind of organizational works is carried out as they have been categorized in different sectors. The labor market in today’s context is upgraded with modernized techniques. Skill has been one of the important factors in getting a better job; what kind of skills are in demand- where we can get it- how can we develop our skills. With these questions, we have set this session to help people to understand today’s labor market.
This course has been set with the aim to make people understand TVET Sub Sectors, Programs and how they work. This will help participants in achieving information regarding different skill and occupational areas. This session will definitely help in broadening our understanding of “World of Work”; and gain some essential knowledge on life/soft skills required to achieve life goals. Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) serves multiple purposes. A key purpose is the preparation of youth for work. This takes the form of learning and developing work-related skills and mastery of underlying knowledge and scientific principles. Participants will be able to broaden their understanding of the TVET sector. Information will be shared on how to access training and education and self/employment opportunities via TVET and one can also get Career Information on different TVET programs and opportunities. It also explains the importance of Skills related training.
