What does Youth Climate Catalyst(YCC) mean?
YCC is a progressive youth-led grassroots network working with communities to fight climate change through the onset of various programmes and action-oriented approaches.
What is the overall idea of this project ?
The overall idea of the programme is to provide a platform for youths to explore their ideas and green solutions and implement their ideas working by identifying the environmental issues in their municipality.
What academic qualifications are needed to meet the criteria?
Participants should have at least completed a +2 education or above.
What are the age restrictions for this project?
Participants must be aged between 18 to 29 years.
Can we apply in a team or should it be individual?
You should apply individually. If you are selected, you can form a group among the participants for the implementation of your project ideas in your community.
Is it mandatory to have the experience?
Previous experience in a similar working area will be an asset.
How many youths will be selected for this project in the first phase?
A total of 20 youths will be selected as Youth Climate Catalyst for this programme in the first phase.
What is the deadline for the application?
The deadline for submitting the application will be January 31, 2023.
When will the announcement of 20 Youth Climate Catalysts be made?
The announcement of 20 Youth Climate Catalysts will be made on February 20, 2023.
When will the Residential workshop titled – “Green Solution Training for Youth Climate Catalysts be organized for Youth Climate Catalysts?
The Residential workshop will be conducted from March 03 – March 05, 2023.
