In this global world, skilling leads to creativity. Through the use of creative skills, youth learn to be innovative and flexible in a world in which they will act as leaders and influencers. Therefore, there is a need to address the strategic importance of equipping young people with skills.

We are going to celebrate World Skills Day 2021 on July 15 with the theme – “Celebrating the resilience and creativity of youth in throughout the crisis.” In marking this day, we have set this 1-hour virtual youth dialogues where we have prominent speakers from different arenas, discussing the ever-increasing significance of youth skills as the world is embarking on a transition towards a sustainable model of development.

The virtual event will highlight the role of skills in youth, and the discussion will be on same theme, about how we can enhance the creativity of youths. The event will be led with a dialogue from different skillful personalities sharing their perspective. This goes in a discussion based format, rather than teaching & learning modality.
