Competition Overview
Glocal After School (venture of Glocal Pvt. Ltd.) is organizing a travel diary writing competition in collaboration with the Turkish Airlines. The open competition is being organized to provide a platform for passionate writers to showcase their writing skills explaining their travel stories. Any interested participants aged between (14-24) can submit their travel tales explaining their dream destination in a more vivid way. 3 best writings will be selected as the winners who will be rewarded by attractive gift hampers from Turkish Airlines.

It is said that, every traveler is a storyteller and a great travel writing consists of equal parts of curiosity, vulnerability and vocabulary. This time, we want to hear your travel story in words. Join us for this competition to unwrap the magic of your travel stories which might be funny, illuminating, adventurous, scary, inspiring, emotional stories that reflect your memorable experience of entering that territory. You can introduce colorful characters into your travel tales and open up your heart within. It is a beautiful platform to express your feeling through amazing words and writings. Get engaged to share your story from discovering new lands to interacting with different peoples, how it helped to broaden your mind.
Why to Participate in Competition?
The competition is organized with the aim to enhance the writing skills of people and also to share your most memorable travel story. These travel tales have the ability to capture little moments of clarity and highlight truths about travel, adventure, and life. The competition is for the interested participants with age of (14-24) from Nepal. The competition will be based on the definite topic where participants will have to use their creative points to win the competition.
Competition Instructions
The write ups needs to be submitted through registration form of the competition before the deadline.
Write a non-fiction travel story on the theme : My Dream Destination.
Words count must be between 500-800 words.
Stories need to be in English and submitted as a Word Doc or pdf attachment.
Write ups must be original and unpublished. Plagiarized entries will be rejected.
Writing should have heading/title, body content and conclusion.
Entries must be received by August 25, 2020.
