Course Overview:
This 3-days course on ‘Essentials of Speaking in Media’ is designed for those participants who want to develop their communication skills and have a career in media; being with an experienced media personality who has been engaged in media platforms and proved her capabilities.
Communication, at its simplest, is the act of transferring information from one place to another. It may be vocally, written, visually or non-verbal. In practice, it is often a combination of several of these. Most of us know the importance of communication skills but searching for an opportunity for the same, this might be a learning experience for you.

The 3-days course will highlight the major subjects as mentioned below:
Day 1: General Public Speaking
Students of public speaking continually ask, “How can I overcome self-consciousness and the fear that paralyzes me before an audience?” Being able to communicate effectively is perhaps the most important of all life skills. It is what enables us to pass information to other people and to understand what is said to us.
Day 2: Working in TV and Radio
Many people’s career goals are to become a media professional being associated with radio and Television. Some even want to be a professional presenters. This course certainly addresses those who want a career in front of the camera or microphone, TV and Radio showing their presentation skills. You may want help dealing with media professionals – how to be an effective interviewee. If you want to know how you can get the best ideas and information across to a more general audience, then this is the course for you.
Day 3: Working on Stage / Emcee
Do you dream of becoming a very confident Emcee and being heard perfectly through the range of audience?
Although public speaking skills and abilities might be not a cup of tea for everyone, even the good speaker might face fear and additional pressure of taking the role of an event host as an MC (Emcee), at important events. We have this course designed for the speakers to overcome their fear of public speaking and be an effective emcee with experience.
