‘Gen 20.21- It’s All about Teens’ an initiation of Glocal  Teen Hero is a webinar series that will showcase or highlight the different social issues to help teenagers understand from broader perspectives. At the same time, teenagers who are working on different SDGs in creating positive impact will get an opportunity to learn and connect with expert leaders from different countries and put forward their perceptions in their working areas.

This initiation is a part of Glocal Teen Hero in collaboration with Glocal After School (GAS) which is a learning platform/ solution for every individual to get engaged in skill development, identify their needs and interest, follow their passion, and lead their initiation.

Episode 2: Forecast the Future – Shaping Career from a Young Age

Every day, teenagers make important decisions that are relevant to their future. The time and energy they dedicate to learning and the fields of study where they place their greatest efforts profoundly shape the opportunities they will have throughout their lives. A key source of motivation for teenagers to study hard is to realize their dreams for work and life. Those dreams and aspirations, in turn, do not just depend on students’ talents, but they can be hugely influenced by their personal background and their families as well as by the depth and breadth of their knowledge about the world of work. In a nutshell, teenagers cannot be what they cannot see.

Through this webinar, we seek to provide effective guidance, encourages teenagers and youths to reflect on who they are and who they want to become, and think critically about the relationships between their educational choices and future economic life. Experience in the world of work gives young people the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge in unfamiliar situations.
