What is Career Catalyst?

Career Catalyst, an initiative by Glocal Pvt. Ltd., is a transformative program designed to inspire, mentor, and equip Nepal’s youth and community leaders with the skills, mindset, and tools to make informed career decisions and embrace entrepreneurial ventures. This initiative aims to develop a network of dynamic trainers who will guide and empower young minds to recognize their potential and nurture their talents.

Through hands-on training, workshops, and mentoring, the Career Catalyst program provides individuals with the knowledge and confidence to navigate career choices effectively and foster entrepreneurial growth. By addressing career awareness, decision-making, and entrepreneurial skills, this initiative strives to build a future generation of leaders capable of driving impactful changes and contributing to Nepal’s economy.

3 days TOT Training for Career Catalysts

Workshops and community-based activities led by trained Career Catalysts.

Eligibility
Criteria for TOT Training

To participate in the Training of Trainers (TOT) program under the Career Catalyst initiative, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Open to individuals of age 18 – 40 years.

Active engagement in youth, community development, or social mobilization activities.

Must be a resident of the targeted cities.

Teachers, influencers, community leaders, and individuals passionate about guiding and mentoring youth are highly encouraged to apply.

Minimum academic qualification completion of higher secondary education (+2) or equivalent.

Absolute time commitment of at least 5 hours a week, till 2025.

Skills and Experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic understanding of career development, guidance, or entrepreneurship will be an advantage (not mandatory).

Willingness to learn, share knowledge, and conduct workshops in their communities.

Passionate about youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and fostering career development.

A positive and proactive mindset to drive change and make a lasting impact in their communities.

Note: Participants will be selected based on their application, submitted documents, interviews, and alignment with the program’s objectives. Both experienced and enthusiastic individuals are welcome to apply!

Post-TOT Responsibilities

Conduct Community Workshops

  • Each Career Catalyst will organize workshops in their respective communities. The workshops will focus on career exploration, decision-making, and entrepreneurship, tailored to inspire and guide local youths.
  • Sessions should be conducted in schools, colleges, or community spaces, ensuring accessibility for participants.

Be a Leader

  • Represent the Career Catalyst initiative in their communities, promoting career awareness and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Serve as a link between Glocal Pvt. Ltd. and their local area, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Career Guidance & Counselling

  • Provide career guidance and support to young individuals exploring career options.
  • Act as a trusted resource for students and aspiring professionals in their region and connect with the right vision.

Document and Report

  • Submit a brief report after each workshop, highlighting key activities, participant feedback, and outcomes.

  • Share success stories and impact stories to help inspire others and showcase the program's reach.
