Workshop Overview:

It is a 2-hour interactive and participatory workshop that will focus on the importance of digital branding and professional networks, using LinkedIn and will help you learn how to apply for jobs and job selection from a recruiter’s perspective. The workshop aims to inspire and guide young people on how to improve their employability through LinkedIn. It can help you by making you more employable and making you future-ready.The workshop aims to inspire and guide young people across Nepal on how to improve their employability and to stand out when looking for employment of their interest. The module is designed with a train-the-trainer methodology, so after attending this workshop, you can conduct similar workshops with your community members too!

Mover’s Workshop is initiated by UNDP Youth Co: Lab in support of Intercultural Education (ICE) to develop a community of volunteers who can take action.

Know your Trainer:

Mr. Lokesh Khadaka, Mover Facilitator, Nepal

Mr. Lokesh Khadaka strongly believes in “Learning by Doing” and he has been contributing to Quality Education, getting involved in lots of activities and platforms to learn and share. He has been recognized as “25under25 Youth Champions” in Quality Education category by Youth Opportunities Nepal on August 12, 2020. He serves as the President of Universal Business Club; an in-house club of Universal College which aims to enhance business and leadership skills by connecting students with entrepreneurs, business leaders, bankers, & other experienced personalities in a relative field.

Mr. Sangay Loday, Movers Facilitator, Bhutan

Mr. Sangay Loday is the Mover Facilitator from Bhutan who has a passion for literature to people's lives. The first time he volunteered in a program called "Project Chodrup" which was a part of charity work. He is also associated with YAN (Youth Advocacy Network Bhutan). Likewise, he has been a part of organizations such as M4M (Me for Myself), Pride Bhutan, Storious, Global Shapers, and especially the Movers Programme. He has been actively working to bring positive change in people’s lives and also the society.
